WPL betting means backing outcomes in Women's Premier League matches: the match winner, powerplay runs, a player's score or the season champion. You can bet before the first ball or live on King Exchange, with the same ID you use for the IPL and all other cricket.
The short version
Markets explained
You can bet on WPL match odds, the toss winner, powerplay runs, player runs, the top bowler and wickets, and the season winner. Match odds is the main one: back the team you think will win, or lay the one you think won't. A tie goes to a Super Over, which decides the market.
Back the team you think will win, or lay the one you think won't. A tie goes to a Super Over, which decides the market.
Teams meet twice in the league stage. The first game is a useful guide to the second.
Pick which captain wins the coin toss. The market settles before the first ball.
It's close to a coin flip, so keep the stake small.
Bet over or under a runs line for the first six overs of an innings.
Check each opening pair's strike rate, not the team's overall record.
Bet over or under a runs line for one batter, or pick the top batter for each side.
The top three batters face the most balls, so they're usually where the value is.
Back the leading wicket-taker for a side, or bet on a bowler's wickets line.
Spinners take a lot of middle-overs wickets on Indian pitches.
Bet on the champion, the Orange Cap for most runs or the Purple Cap for most wickets.
In a short season, squad depth matters as much as star names.
Reading odds
WPL prices are decimal, and your return is your stake times the price: ₹500 at 1.80 returns ₹900. You can also lay a team, betting that it won't win; lay ₹500 at 1.80 and your liability is ₹400. Live prices update after almost every ball and pause briefly after a wicket.
You can also lay a team, which means betting that it won't win. Lay ₹500 at 1.80 and your liability is ₹400. The bet slip shows that number before you confirm.
Live prices update after almost every ball. Markets pause briefly after a wicket or a review, then reopen at the new price.

Tournament format
Five teams play each other twice, and the season lasts about a month. Only the team that finishes first goes straight to the final, so first place is worth far more than second. Late in the league stage, prices often follow that race.
Stage 1
Every team plays the others twice
First place goes straight to the final. Second and third play the Eliminator. Fourth and fifth are out.
Stage 2
2nd vs 3rd
The winner goes to the final. The loser is out.
Stage 3
1st vs Eliminator winner
Decides the WPL champion.
Before the first ball
Overseas players move WPL odds most, because the stars often bat in the top order, so check who's been picked. Check the toss, recent venue scores, the pitch report, the forecast and evening dew too. WPL totals run lower than IPL totals, so don't judge its runs lines by IPL numbers.
WPL totals usually run lower than IPL totals. Runs lines for powerplays, sessions and players are set lower to match, so don't judge a WPL line by IPL numbers.
Side by side
The WPL is smaller and shorter: five teams instead of ten, about a month instead of two, and a simpler playoff. Totals tend to be lower, which changes where the value sits in runs markets, so match odds or top batter make the best first bets, rather than powerplay runs.

Settlement
Match odds follow the official result, including DLS results and Super Overs. If a match is abandoned with no result, match odds bets are void and stakes are returned. A session whose over is never bowled is void, and so are bets on a player who isn't in the playing XI.
If rain shortens the match and a result is declared, including under DLS, match odds settle on that result.
If the match is abandoned or declared no result, match odds bets are void and stakes are returned.
A Super Over decides match odds. Its runs and wickets don't count for session, fancy or player markets.
A session whose over is never bowled is void, unless its result was already decided.
Bets on a player who isn't in the playing XI are void.
Winnings go to your balance once the result is official. Withdraw to a UPI ID or bank account in your own name.
